Got my haircut yesterday >< My hair used to be down to my bum and now it's at shoulder length. =P Hmm.. It's layered and sort of curls at the bottom. HUGE difference =P

Mt Ruapehu

Mt Ruapehu. One of the world's active volcanoes and North Island's major ski field. In my opinion, the best skiing resort I've been in NZ. During badminton, my mum's friend invited us to go to Mt Ruapehu the next day. -Wow! That was sudden..- We weren't even prepared! And I was supposed to go to Chinese school and Maggie's after. Mum gave me a choice and the idea of skiing was extremely tempting, but I wouldn't have as much fun with my friends. So instead of ditching Hayley and Maggie, I called them at 10.30pm, inviting them both to join my family for the ski trip. Though i must admit, calling them that late and inviting them to Mt Ruapehu skiing is pretty crazy, especially if we just found out an hour ago.

We were packed and ready to go at 7.15am. -Get the show going peoples..Super-excited here!- We picked Hayley and Magz up and off we went. We met up with Uncle Charles and left Hamilton at 8.15am.

The ride was 3 hours long. Us 3 girls at the back played 'I spy' and solved my Rubik's cube at least a hundred times. We also talked about Magz nose being ugly. Weird conversation I must say. >< I also took quite a few pictures on the way. Here's some of the pretty scenery.

Look how GREEN that is! You should appreciate it, can't find anything like that in Malaysia can you?

Mt Ruapehu

Finally! We reached Mt Ruapehu. The weather was wonderful. It wasn't too cold or too hot. Perfect spring weather. =D I got a skiing package for NZ$60. The package includes access at Happy Valley (Beginners turf), a 1 & 1/2 hour skiing lesson, chairlifts and scenic view. Magz ditched Hayley and I when we went for the skiing lesson as she goes skiing every year. -What a lucky bitch! =P-

I was quite surprised that I could ski reasonably well and not to boast, I only fell twice. The first time was when I was trying to turn right and turned left (where the rocks are) instead. I fell on my bum to prevent crashing into the rocks and Hayley followed suit. -Trust me, it's better to have a wet bum than breaking a leg or two.- The second time was when I trying to get on the chairlift with my skis on. I was supposed to go on the chairlift with this other woman with her skis on too. I got on the chairlift and her skis tripped on mine so I fell over head on into the snow. Everyone was watching and I was so embarrassed. (/'''/.\'''\)

I bought hot chips for lunch and I walked barefooted in the snow -It was FREEZING- I then went for the scenic view with Mum. The scenery was just amazing. I could see EVERYTHING! =) and I was jealous when I saw this person do a 360 flip on the snowboard. Too bad I didn't take a photo of it. T-T

We left Mt Ruapehu at 4pm because it closes then T-T Come on! Why did they have to close so early? It was still sunny! Hungry from skiing, I had pies for my afternoon tea/dinner and Lamingtons =D Hayley, Magz and I played Animal, Plant and Mineral. It is a game where a person thinks of an object and the others have to ask questions to figure it out. We ended up modifying the game to Animal, Plant, Mineral, Food and Emotion. =P We reached Hamilton around 7.30pm and were extremely exhausted, especially Mum. She drove us there and back so THANK YOU MUM! and HAPPY 16th BIRTHDAY MAGZ! Hope you have an awesome time with LEGAL sex =P

Present Hunting

On the 21st September 2009, me and my mates went Present Hunting. Hayley, Sarah and I were supposed to go to Chartwell and meet Jackie there at 11 but we took the wrong bus. We took the Go bus instead of the Orbiter =-= So it took us about 11/2 hours to go to Chartwell. (/'''/_\'''\) We bought Maggie presents based on a BLUE theme and it costed NZ$80. =D
